Dorchester United Soccer Club

Our History:

Dorchester United Soccer Club (DUSC) was co-founded by Jason Bond and Jeff Alperin in April 2019.

Jeff and Jason met while both coaching at the Oakbrook Y and first teamed up to coach a U14 team before expanding to U12 and U17. In the fall of 2019, following the completion of the regular season, Dorchester United competed for the first time outside of the Y, in the James Island Cup. More tournaments would follow and DUSC would capture their first SC Open Cup Championship in December 2021! The following spring our U12 Girls and U14 Boys both won tournaments to round out an amazing year!

Fall 2022 saw the opening of the DUSC Academy with teams practicing at Tom Conley Field and competing in the
South Carolina Open League. This season also saw three DUSC teams compete in the SC Open Cup with
all three qualifying for Championship games and the U16 Boys winning it all!

Fall 2023 saw a record number of players and teams in both the Academy and Recreation programs and the U14 Girls kicked things off with a championship appearance in the pre-season Columbia County Cup in Augusta. An amazing Open League season was capped off with both the U17 boys and U19 boys earning promotion to the PMSL and
U19 earning their second SC Open Cup Championship in 3 years!
